Brave Just Like Me is a Virtual Support Group for parents who have children facing serious and life threatening medical conditions.
This website is designed to:

• Support parents through
  • Discussion forums where they can share their stories, ask questions and learn from one another
  • Resources designed to help them cope with the challenges they face
• Encourage parents through
  • Inspirational stories
  • Prayer

This site was developed to complement a children’s book, also entitled Brave Just Like Me. The book and the website were inspired by a three year old girl named Lexie, who was born with a life threatening medical condition. The book was written to acknowledge, comfort, and encourage children who, like Lexie, are facing serious medical conditions. Recognizing that these children aren’t the only ones who need comforting and encouragement, the author designed this virtual support group for the parents of these incredibly brave children.
